Woodworking Lubricants
Lubie® #4
A high-grade synthetic emulsifiable lubricant fortified with special cleansers, designed to remove pine pitch and resin while providing superior lubrication and cooling.
Lubie® #4 is used full strength in wick, drip and spray systems to cool, lubricate and remove heavy SPF resin build-up on band saw blades, circular saws, gang rip blades and other wood cutting tools. Bandsaws can dilute Lubie #4 up to 10:1 with water if build-up is not heavy (Contact Barker Inc for additional information before using Lubie #4 for finger joint knives).
- Lubie® #4 is non flammable, non toxic and biodegradable, and environmentally friendly.
- It does not contain any chemicals listed in SARA Title III, Section 313 or in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.
- Lubie® #4 does not contain silicones and will not stain or discolor wood.
Lubie® #4 full strength or diluted up to 10:1 with water is most effectively applied through Lubie® 900 spray systems, which give the ultimate in application and volume adjustments.
